Treating cradle cap

I know no one has posted for a while but.............I found this link on my search of Google for treatments of cc and eczema. Someone ages ago, way back on page one or two mentioned MooGoo which I had heard of but not thought about investigating further.

so.....just ordered my youngest some creams from MooGoo and reading the testimonials on their www, it looks like its a winner already.

NJ has pretty bad cc - olive oil kinda worked, cortizone (sp) cream kinda worked, sorbelene hardly worked and now he just has cc with a big old red head! I noticed in the last fortnight he is developing eczema on the thighs, back of knees, one underarm and belly and back!

I will let you know how he goes girls.

I also have itchy, red flaky skin on my cheeks and sometimes on my nose - real attractive. Have used cortizone ointment but it only comes back after not using it for a few days or when I use face wash. I plan on using MooGoo Full Cream on my face so I will also let you know how that ones goes for anyones future reference!

My eldest Bailey has a dry scalp, thankfully hidden by hair. I am thinking of buying their shampoo and conditioner to help him with that and DP might be interested as he gets heaps of dandruff.

ive also heard great things about their scalp cream, the other stuff is great!!
i found that johnson and johnson shampoo was what gave DD cradle cap, that went straight into the bin!!

lol......I have a shelf load of lotions and potions that might be finding a new home in the bin! MooGoo had info on their www too about mineral oil and after watching TodayTonight last night and what Mineral Oil can do to babies, my J&J Baby Oil went in the bin! Sad though because I LOVED the smell!

I put baby oil on my dd's head after a bath. When she had really bad cradle cap (or cradle crap as I like to call it), we would put the oil on, then about an hour later we would use a baby brush and gently brush in little circles to get rid of it. Now she doesn't have any CC and we always use the baby oil after every bath. I think it took about a week to clear up (she had it really bad) and it hasn't returned in about 2 months.

I'm still loving my MooGoo Infant scalp cream. It has anti-fungal inhibitors like lavender oil in it which you need to keep CC at bay. I also agree that mineral oil is to be avoided.

Another vote for Moogoo Infant Scalp Cream! I love their Oil Cleansing Method for myself, big Moogoo fan here, and I like the samples they always include for me.

MooGoo: yep, gotta love a company that always includes a free sample pot (not just a sachet) with every order... I usually know that when I run out of the sample pot of moisturiser that they generally include that it's time to make another order for soap/shampoo.
