i had a phone call with them when DS was around 10 months old. apart from a couple of weeks when he was 3 months old, he wouldn't sleep more than 45-90mins at a time. 2 hours if we were lucky. i was at the end of my tether. i found the lady helpful & not at all pushy nor did she disrespect our preference for a gentle approach. i took a couple of points on board but some of the advice i just didn't feel able to follow - i was just too tired to put some of it into practice (it wasn't CIO or anything, just required a lot of going in & leaving, going in & leaving etc). she didn't feel that we warranted a day at the centre & i have to admit i didn't push it & probably played things down a bit. a friend went to the day stay & found it helpful. she put things into practice & found after a week or so things improved at home.
the positive about the call was that it clarified for me that, even though totally frustrated, i preferred to keep going the same way we had been & ride it out.
good luck, i hope it gives you some useful suggestions
