The 'symptoms' have all been rather the same...
  • white spots on his gums
  • unusual screaming wakes ups during the night
  • lots more dribble
  • rosy and rather dry cheeks (probably from all the extra dribble)
  • had difficultly bf -
  • seemed to enjoy the teething rings sooo much more (I could easily see it was giving relief)
  • runny nappies

I agree with you that they must grow better when they are asleep- this 1st top tooth I had checked his gum before he had his afternoon sleep, and a few hours later when he woke I could see it had broken through.
Georgi, I have cut and paste - but these are Zanders symptoms - and you might of read in our baby buddies thread that after another runny nappy early afternoon i had a good look, and yep, can see the two little white lines of both teeth - so am thinking this is it - early for my babies but they are all little individuals!

Took me 90 mins to get him down tonight which is extremely unusual, and pattern of being in cot 10 mins, then pain screaming/crying poor darlin.... and poor mummy fingers crossed for overnight

with the growing whilst they sleep theories - well at this age they are asleep for anywhere from 14 - 16 hours avg of the day!!
