Uhhh, just gotta add...the number of deaths from cervical cancer could be dramatically reduced with more consistent pap smears. Much (not all) of the cervical cancer that leads to death does so because it was picked up too late and at its final stages. More regular pap smears would reduce the number of fatalities in a noticeable way. How do you achieve more regular pap smears? Because it's no secret amongst women that many are putting them off, because they feel uncomfortable, because they don't like them or they are to busy, among other reasons. Education, once again. Not saying that it would solve everything! But more women having regular pap smears equals more cancer or abnormalities being picked up at earlier stages and treated.

You won't find argument with me, there are many checkups and self checks (for men and women) that could save many lives and safe sex is so very important.

What are you going to do to get everyone to do this all the time? If you have a secret formula Ill come and work for you, for free, and we can change the world together. (I'm a nurse and I firmly believe in health promotion and keeping people healthy and out of hospitals!)
