That's a fair cop, but unlike other diseases that can come on quickly cervical cancer takes time. Pap smears preventing cancer work on the principle of finding and removing pre-cancerous legions, if the vaccine can prevent most of the pre-cancerous legions from ever being there in the first place then that's an improvement. Don't forget that having lumps cut out of your cervix can cause other big problems of itself...
For sure...but I do stand by what I said. I would still not consider the vaccine 'proven' or 'safe' (for me at least) until it has stood the teat of time, and all the effects have been seen and noted.
