need some advice re. childhood and travel vaccinations
My DH has always been very wary of vaccinations but when DS was born it was decided that we hadn't done enough research to make the decision not to and when with the majority so DS was vaccinated at birth and again at 3.5 months. However after joining up here and doing some more reading we came to the decision to stop there and delay everything until he turned 2 when we felt his body would be more resilient to the onslaught of chemicals. We didn't see the point in vaccinating against diseases which are hardly an issue in Australia as long as you are careful and stay healthy.
However here is our dilemma.....we're planning to go to India at the end of the year, a place where some of those diseases are a very real problem. Now I don't know what to do! DS will be around 1.5 years then, I haven't gone to talk to my GP yet but can he even get travel vaccinations at that age? Has anyone else been in a similar situation, what did you do? If anyone has some advice of any sort I'd love to hear it
