But that's the thing, cholera, hep a, typhoid etc aren't just diseases only poor malnourished kids get if anything isn't someone from Australia, who has never been exposed to anything like that and is used to a certain standard of hygiene more likely to contract this? I mean you can watch where you eat and wash your hands till the cows come home but there is always a risk.
I just feel like I'm damned if I do and damned if I don't. I know no vaccine is %100 effective but really how strong is a one year olds immune system? Is having the cholera vaccine really worse than contracting cholera itself? You say not to immunise out of fear, but isn't that the exact reason why you would choose to? Fear of contracting a disease?
I'll definitley take your advice and speak to a natropath or similar. Thanks.
