    Yeah I asked for it to be taken off. It doesn't need to stay there till the cord drops off.

    cut the loop end. So not the end that clicks together, I think you need a special gadget to open them again once they are closed. All of mine have just had the "hinge" end cut to open them.

    Thanks for that, I have just put her down for the night, so I will take another look in the morning. It shouldn't effect the healing process should it?
