When do you say bubs is officially walking??

My DD has been furniture walking/cruising for what seems like forever now and for the last few weeks has been taking a tentative step or two but then nose dives into the edge of the sofa. Over the last few days though she has started to take more controlled steps (up to a metre), stands at the end and then sits in a very controlled way - not just falling down on her bottom. Do I say she's walking now? Not sure what I want the answer to be - my baby stops being my baby and becomes a toddler!

I'd say she's walking. Congratulations (or commiserations) whichever way want to look at it

I reccon it's when they can take a step or two without holding on so she's more than achieved that
