    No I don't think that she believes her body will go into labour on it's own, and I think she's afraid to go later than 42 weeks when it's so uncommon and everyone seems to think it's a terrible thing to do. And, of course, by that stage of pregnancy, most women are so tired and sore and ready to be done that an induction doesn't sounds like such a bad idea!

    I'm going to suggest the acupuncture to her, definitely, and maybe see what she thinks about asking for more non-stress testing in the last weeks, instead of agreeing to an induction.
