Wow - there are so many beautiful, inspiring montages in this thread!!! My DH has been writing applications for courses tonight and I've been stopping him every few minutes to shove my computer into his face so he can watch...the poor thing is getting a little frustrated that I didn't pick a better time

I haven't had babies yet so no montage from me....although there are two that I've stumbled across online that I find incredibly powerful and inspiring...hope its ok to post the links here:

Cesarean vs. VBAC: A Dramatic Difference on Vimeo - one woman's experience of VBAC after 2 c-sections (graphic footage of c-sections) - I just showed my DH this one and he cried...'wow...that dad was so proud!! I want us to have a homebirth.' We're not even TTC because he says he's not ready! Maybe that's a sign of progress?!!

I haven't had a chance to watch all the montages, but just watched the caesar vs VBAC video and was blown away. I chose not to watch any footage of caesar births prior to my labours because I didn't want to be affected or have any expectations. All I can say is, I'm so glad I didn't. Oh my god. I've been really affected by this video. The force in which the babies were removed and the lack of gentle care given after birth really shocked me. I'm so glad that I was able to birth my babies vaginally and in water. I don't have anything against caesars or people who choose them so please don't take offence, but after watching this video I count myself and my babies lucky that a caesar wasn't an option.
