Thanks for looking and all of your lovely comments. I just love reliving the moment and can't help watching it. Very proud of myslef if you can't tell
Mel, my IM took photos as Eliza was born. I didn't ask for them to be taken but I am so glad she took them cos if she hadn't have I know my DH wouldn't have thought to . I kinda wish I had some video too but I don't know if I could watch it back and listen to the noises I was making without wanting to leave the room but I still wish I had some.

I loved watching all the birth montages. They gave me goosebumps and brang back that emotional rush of birthing my own baby. Makes me want to do it again

Well, seeing as Lily is six months old, I suppose I'd better post hers!

Sorry, but I'm sure you all understand with the number of weirdos out there, we like to keep things private when they involve pictures of our children.

    Absolutely beautiful Michael.

If only our politicians could be there to witness that exhilaration and emotion on your families faces as Lily is welcomed Earthside.

    Congratulations to your beautiful family!

Wow - there are so many beautiful, inspiring montages in this thread!!! My DH has been writing applications for courses tonight and I've been stopping him every few minutes to shove my computer into his face so he can watch...the poor thing is getting a little frustrated that I didn't pick a better time

I haven't had babies yet so no montage from me....although there are two that I've stumbled across online that I find incredibly powerful and inspiring...hope its ok to post the links here:

Cesarean vs. VBAC: A Dramatic Difference on Vimeo - one woman's experience of VBAC after 2 c-sections (graphic footage of c-sections) - I just showed my DH this one and he cried...'wow...that dad was so proud!! I want us to have a homebirth.' We're not even TTC because he says he's not ready! Maybe that's a sign of progress?!!

My Journey to a VBAC on Vimeo - another very inspiring VBAC!

(mods - any issues with the links and I'll take 'em down!)
