I never thought of it either and just read in Jools Oliver's book that she took her own with her.
Mine is supposed to be the right height for me (you can check online for what size you should have I think) but sometimes it feels too small. I think it's a bit cheap and must be leaking.

Some hospitals have the birthing balls, you have to check with them beforehand. It will save you having to take yours into the hospital. I am going to Westmead Private and they have birthing balls so I don't need to take one with me. I just bought myself a fitball (same thing) and it is 66cm, so plan on using it from tomorrow up until the big day to loosen up in the hips etc I was also told it will assist in getting the baby's head in the engaged position![]()
