Some hospitals have the birthing balls, you have to check with them beforehand. It will save you having to take yours into the hospital. I am going to Westmead Private and they have birthing balls so I don't need to take one with me. I just bought myself a fitball (same thing) and it is 66cm, so plan on using it from tomorrow up until the big day to loosen up in the hips etc I was also told it will assist in getting the baby's head in the engaged position
