Don't assume that KellyD. 1 panadol has been shown to give the same pain relief as a small dose of morphine. It really is amazing stuff. 2. your body can and will produce endorphines in response to your pain, which are 200 times stronger than morphine. You will probably find that your ability to cope well will be better if you can get some rest and arn't scared about the pain. The fear-tension-pain cycle is well documented. If you fear pain then you will be tense and then things will hurt more. If you can try to relax and have a nice bath or get a massage from someone you will probably find that you can come better. Both are great for early labour. If you get in the bath it will also support your belly more which cana help you feel more comfortable. I have never carried twins. I was really big but I am sure you arebigger and you have all of my sympathies. Be kind to yourself and try to get some support and relaxing done.
