I was in for a minimum of 5 days, they wanted to keep me longer, due to complications, but I wanted OUT!!
I have heard of others being sent home early, ie- 3-4 days, if the surgery goes well, minimal blood loss, OBs looking good etc. She is a lucky girl!
but like arimeh said, complications can arise after the fact, they have probably told her all that, they told me when I went home to present myself at emergency if my temp went above 37.5, and some other stuff, but its all a bit hazy now. I was at Flinders public.
