Your friend may have discharged herself? One of my friends who had a CS in Darwin a few years ago discharged herself on day 2 as she was so appalled with the horrific treatment she got in hossy.

As long as she monitors her blood loss, scar site for any weeping and she can urinate ok, it should be fine. She also shouldn't wait to long for her bowels to move either.
