I hired my tens through birth partner dot com and they're really great. I had it for 5 weeks and they were the cheapest. The TENS is brilliant, I highly recommend it!!! I wanted a natural birth too and I got it. I don't have anything to compare to as it was my first birth but I really do feel like the TENS helped. I stayed home for as long as possible and was only in hospy a few hrs before DD was born. I read Juju Sundins book Birth skills, it has Sarah Murcdoch in it and I really found that the best book I read. I also read a calmbirth booklet which had some good stuff in it from a friend who did a calmbirth course. Juju's book teaches you about the hormones, what they do, how to utilise the pain relieving hormones in your body and how to minimalise the ones that cause the pain. I learnt some great skills for coping with the pain. Breathing. Oh and it talks about the plunger, tells you how it should feel when you push etc and I found that very helful, had no problems pushing her out. You're going to do so great. I wish I could go back and tell myself it was nothing to be scared of because I was nervous too. It's an amazing experience and if you want to do it naturally you can! You can do it, don't listen to those ppl out there who tell you that you're crazy for not wanting the drugs. Honestly birth is amazing and to give birth naturally if all goes well you will be up and about within an hr or 2 of having your baby. Good luck
