    Just an update...

I had my monitoring this morning - bub is happy good heart rate - looked like consistent "contractions" waves on the monitoring machine every four minutes or so..
I thought they were bubs just moving around
Head is still 3/5th no drop
However I had exactly the same thing on Wed monitoring before we decided to abandon the induction...
HOwever!!! Today off an on feeling like period is on way with back pain... and the main thing is weird looking yellow discharge - not like usual CM..(no blood though)
Anyway that is the story & I feel just sort of serenely calm which I find weird.

Thanks again and will keep you posted if interested

    is a massage any good??
Yeah! Get DH to go to town on your shoulders, ankles, hands and feet. There are lots of great pressure points there that are supposed to correllate to the uterus and stimulate contractions
I feel just sort of serenely calm which I find weird
Now that is exciting... paradoxically Aparently once you start to relax and let things just happen, they are more likely to happen, KWIM?
Good for you, mate. It sounds like you are doing fabulously with everything that's going on. Sending you lots of lovely labour vibes

Anna, good luck with everything. Sorry to hear you were worried about going through with it. I was booked in for mine, was 2cm dilated already and had a drug free, 5 hour labour for my first! It was fine. I hope nobody scared you about induction, I had a successful one here!

    LOOK EVERYONE MY 500TH POST!!!

queenbee - thank you for your good induction story - I am pleased & I do know of heaps of people tht have had good inductions...so it makes me feel great to hear that yours went great.
I guess on Wednesday I was just not mentally or physically "ready" ..by Monday I am really going to be ready for it as I feel I have given my body and baby the time it needed - I just felt if I let the induction happen on Wed last week I would have ended up with a lot more intervention...

Heaps more of this yellowish sticky stuff and on and off period like feelings..bub has been a bit quieter than the usual but I am feeling OK and calm.
