Hi Karla - I had my first bubs 7 months ago - and I too was quite nervous about labour. I had a fantastic experience - mainly due to knowing what to expect (as much as possible), knowing my options (regarding labour choices ie pain relief) and thanks to an awesome team of midwives and my OB.
It was an experience like no otherbut I'd do it again tomorrow!
Just trust yourself and your body - make informed choices (BellyBelly has some great articles and info) and make sure you surround yourself with people who understand the type of birth YOU want. For example I definitely did not want a c/s or to be induced (I was offered both) and my birth plan (do you have one?) was quite specific about my wishes. Whilst it didn't go quite to plan - I felt like I had options and some control.
Good luck - for me the best part of labour was the end of being pregnant - I hated the last trimester - hope you are holding your bubba in you8r arms soon,
Kylie

but I'd do it again tomorrow!
