Thanks everyone!

It's been a week now and I can't believe it's all happened and over! I had 3 hours sleep the night before, not really enough but it was better than nothing. My waters were broken at 8am, drip in at 9am, having regular strong contractions by 1pm. Only I barely felt them!! I just felt my stomach tighten and stuff, it was a little uncomfortable but not hurty at all. Until about 4pm! LOL!! Still they weren't too bad.Had half a shot of pethidine at about 6pm and my little girl in my arms at 7:38pm! Normal birth, no tearing and was home by lunch time the next day! It was a hard day but totally worth it and no where near as bad as I thought it would be.

Now the hard part really starts though! Having trouble getting used to the new little person I brought home from the hospital with me, but I'm sure that it will get easier!
