Large blood clot *TMI*

I passed a big clot about the size you described 5 days after DS2 was born so I called the hospital. They told me to come in and get it checked, which I did, but it turned out to be nothing to worry about and I wasnt bleeding to death, lol. I was worried though for a minute there.

I passed a large one at about 10 days PP and I had a largish bleed afterwards too. I called the hospital mainly because I was still concerned about having a PPH, but they said it was fine and not uncommon at all. If you are feeling fine and the bleeding settles I wouldn't worry about it, but if you start feeling off and the bleeding doesn't stop then I'd call.

Same deal here, I was still in hospital and about 5 days after birth I passed a clot the size of a golfball, scared me a bit so I called the midwife and showed her, I think she pulled it apart to make sure it was just blood, she said it was very normal too
