Oh wow Spring. How did you do it? You have amazing courage and strength - I would have avoided the confrontation, and then cried and stewed over it for days. You know, you have just saved someone else from having that doctor say something so cruel. Good on you. You should be proud.

Thanks guys, I'm so glad that I said what I said even if I could barely speak through the tears. I've never been a person to shy away but in these sorts of circumstances I'm just got so much invested in this that it was almost too hard. Makes me realise more and more how perhaps my life's path is leading away from my profession and towards being a doula. That is a decision for another day.

I've had a few 'gosh' moments today. When having dinner before I thought something was starting. I had to stop and hold my belly. Really strong pains, like I needed to go to the toilet and quick. Nothing since so I'm sure it's just a test run.

Off to bed for an early one.

    Nighty ni

    Spring xx

PS, I get to tick off my first goal tomorrow. Woot woot.

Oh my Lordy... What an insensitive thing for that Dr to say... I am so sorry that I didn't read this until now. I am so sorry that she said this to you...

This baby will come in her/his own time. It will happen. I want you to remember that Drs are human & being such are pretty good at insensitivity to others... You know & I know that Harry's story was his & yours. This baby has a different story - the ability you have at going inside yourself & knowing what you need is amazing. You are a courageous and intuitive Birthing Goddess. Your body and your baby will birth at precisely the right time. Your baby is doing great just where she is cuddled inside... When the time is right he will make his way out - & your body will work with her to birth...

You could be waiting another 3 weeks yet - so don't put yourself under pressure. Just relax... Keep your jaw loose, squat as much as possible - talk to your baby as much as possible. Ring me if you need help to focus. But always hold that innate knowing that you know just how this is going for your baby & for you...

It's not time yet - & when it is your body will work beautifully to bring this baby warm and squishy into your arms.

Things are all heading in the right direction.

I dont really know your story, but like everyone has said before, this baby has his/her own story and not the same story as your little boy!
Trust you body....most of all, trust your baby he/she know what to do! and when to come!
Your mantras are great, i kept saying 'good pain' 'relax'....i had heaps more but at the time thats all i could remember and it got me through hours!
    You can do it!!

Spring - So very, very proud of you. The insensitivity and and often innocently stupid comments made by some people who should know better do so much harm to our mental strength. You are doing great!!! Keep those positive thoughts going and embrace each milestone.

You know better than anyone there are no guarantees in life but you are NOT doing anything that would risk this baby. Deep breaths and let the fear go (as much as you can) so this babe can choose its own birthdate and safely make its entry earthside

Thinking of you often and always *mwah*

LOL Spring, we should ask for one of those ticks.

Hun, women and babies have been working together in the journey of birth since time began, and it will continue like this till the end of time. I KNOW you have it in you and you will bring this new babe earthside all on your own
