Contractions definately are more intense for shorter labours, but Im not so sure I liked how they escalate with the longer labour.. I remember thinking, oh these arent too bad I can handle this, then the next contraction came I would think, are you serious? this kills..

I have no idea as to what constitutes the perfect length of labour. But the idea of being in labour for days so does not make me think oh yes I can handle that
