Trish, what a fantastic birth storey. I especially love how you talked about cutting the cord - you're making me feel a bit emotional!!! And I love the detail!! I'm so happy that everything went well and that you had your mum with you (who sounds wonderful) and that Mark was there for you too. Thanks so much for sharing it with us, especially when I'm sure you are exhausted with all the work of a new bubba and another 4 kids. You are such a strong woman, I don't know how you do it all.
Hugs to you and your beautiful little girl.

Awwww thanks. It means so much to me to be able to share Abbey's birth with you all. You have provided me with so much strength and support during my pregnancy. At times when I thought I could handle no more stress you were all here for me. It was so very much appreciated.
I only hope that I can be there to support others as much as they have done for me.

And if I can help just one of you to have your "dream birth" whether it's at home or otherwise then I am a happy girl.

Thanks Trish. I can't wait to see the montage! What a beautiful inspiring story. Tehya's birth gave me inspiration and determination for Esme's homebirth. If i stay this lucky i will NEVER birth in hospital!

Thanks so much for sharing your birth story with us all, Trish. It was reading about Tehya's birth that convinced me I wanted to birth Emily at home, and I'm sure this story will have others wanting to try it for themselves as well. Home birthing sure is lovely, isn't it.

    Only almost Ruf ??

Hoobley and Cricket I am so glad that I was able to help give you that nudge into having your own homebirths. I'm sure that once you birth at home you never go back. Atleast not unless you really have to.
