Happy Birthing Day ZF, you have survived and thrived 3 years with your little girl. The love, support and stimulation you give your girls have helped make them the bright, happy kids they are.

I love this story. I love how even your tone of writing sounds so calm and matter of fact. I would have been desperately scared and lonely without my hubby there!

Just found DD's birth CD (which i've been trying to find for ages with non luck) - listening now in tears. my beautiful princess.
    My poor mum

I also found a letter my mum wrote me that i thought i would share.

    Dear ~ZF~
Sometimes i cannot express myself and put forward how i feel face to face. I want to let you know how proud of you i am. How i wish your experience was better for you. I feel so sorry for M missing out on the birth and not being by your side to support you.

I must say though that if there is an easy and hard way to do something you will always go for the hard way and you always seem to pull it off.

I want to say thank you for the experience. It was one of the scariest yet most wonderful things i have been through. Other than when Marty died i have never felt so helpless, being so far away and not being able to help you, and to listen to you in pain and know what that pain was like, the waiting and hoping bub would cry.

You are an amazing woman, i just think this same person when told where babies come from crossed her legs, cried and said she was never having kids. It is a memory that has always stuck with me as will the birth of beautiful Ava.
You are my hero and i love you very much.

    Mum
