hey lucy
what a great birth story - you get so used to hearing all the nightmare ones, its nice to hear of a good one! i'm going to buy the book with cd "25 ways to awaken your birth power", and try the hypno method, for myself. my first baby was induced - and hopefully i won't have to be induced this time.
congratulations on your 3 babies - what lovely names too!
That's the way to do it Lucy, walk in and pop them out LMAO. Congratulations again on Alexandra's arrival, and enjoy your first week home as a family of 5 !!
Good on you Lucy. Sounds liek everything went beautifully! And how nice to have less time in hossy mucking around. Get in there, do whats gotta be done, ad then kick back and relax
Congratulations Lucy again - what a beautiful birth story. It reminds me very much of my Lucy's birth - she was my third baby too. Especially the nickers thing!!!!
Enjoy your gorgeous girl and thankyou for sharing your story!
Oh Lucy, what a birth! I love that you seemed so in control (bar the emotional tears!) and I love that Olivia instinctively knew something was up! What a clever chicken!
Awesome birth story Lucy, you're a legend! You'll have to let us know where you got that hypnobirthing CD, I want to do it with my next one and even more now that I've read your story.
The gush of warm amniotic fluid is what got me - your birthing experience sounds very similar to mine, man i could almost feel what seemed gallons of fluid trickling down my leg, as i read your post...... (although, i didnt make it to the labour ward, just the emergency). My knickers and $69.95 maternity pumpkin patch skirt were cut off with scissors - no time to be a lady!.
As the Drs suggested to me, should there be a #4 for you, i suggest you and DH camp outside the birthing unit, at least a few days prior to your EDD !!!!
Enjoy your third beautiful child
