Um ttcno2 it looks to me like you yelled for your epidural during transition! LOTS of women yell for ALL SORTS of stuff then - i yelled for an epidural too - i was at HOME, in the BATH! LOL. M SIL yelled for a "baby amputation" during transition.

I was also told not to push for close to 4 hours and it was agony and so defeating at times - you just feel hopeless like, every contraction you fight fight fight and push a little anyway and then in between you think, next time i HAVE to push, i HAVE to, i can't do this anymore. I remember so well hun You can't have been pushing hard since your cervix didn't swell, you did a fabulous job. It could also be that your body wanted you to push to rupture your membranes...? Our bodies are smarter than we give them credit for i think.

You did an awesome job of managing a stormy labour.
