Wow Dusty!! I'm so glad you are happy with Freya's birth. It sounded like you were so present and in the moment. I'm sorry the after birth was so traumatic.

Wow what an amazing story Dusty - you had my heart racing for you all. Hope your recovery goes well and I definitely debrief about your birth as much as you need to. I think too many of us on here know about birth trauma all too well.

I know we talked about this yesterday, but I had no idea the after part was so bad. Well I knew it was bad, but not the extent Which makes me even more glad you're feeling a bit better.

First of all a big hug.

Thank you for sharing your story. I went through a similar thing with the after birth care on the ward - which was why I left hospital less than three days after a c-section. The stark contrast between care received in the Birth centre and the ward is cruel. Every shift I was given different advice on BF - got home and Alex and I worked it out.

You did it. Your amazing. She is beautiful!!

I can't say it any better than that! Dusty it has been a long hard road, but it is wonderful that you finally have your miracle child.
I'm sorry it wasn't all as positive as the birth itself wishing you a speedy recovery so you can concentrate all your energy on enjoying your princess.

    You did so well.

Im pleased you are able to seperate the highs and the lows as that can be very difficult to do.

    Well done and Congratulations

I think there are lots of reasons we don't share so much.
Sometimes maybe we just don't want to face it ourselves.
I don't like mentioning the forceps (IRL at least) because that becomes the focus (possibly that's just my perception). But honestly that wasn't the worst part by a long shot.

Anyway, I hope you're being better cared for now Dusty And don't feel guilty - with things like birth, the end result and the process are almost entirely separate things.
