Amazing story Dusty. MummaSue is right, you are a superstar! Thank you so much for sharing, the way you handled going overdue, your negotiations with your carers, how you handled your labour is very inspirational.
I'm sorry you had such a rough time after the birthLook after yourself. xx

Ahh, what better to read during a late night feed than a fantatic account of the arrival of a precious miracle bub!
I confess I've been waiting for this one and it didn't disappoint! Your labour sounded so fantastic - aren't sisters awesome? I had mine there for my DD's birth and similar to yours, she was a great help to me. She's even an Em like I think your sister is from memory!!
Huge congrats again and I hope you can continue to recover well from what happened after that!
Well done, glad you are both here safe and sound xoxoxo
Congrats Dusty and thanks for sharing your story. Sounds like an amazing birth - women are so powerful! I hope you continue to process the trauma afterwards and make a FULL recovery.
What an amazing birth story! Congratulations!![]()

All the best with processing the post-birth trauma and your continuing recovery![]()
thank you so much for sharing your story Dusty!!
that elation when they are there on your chest is just something isnt it??!!
I know we talked about this yesterday, but I had no idea the after part was so bad. Well I knew it was bad, but not the extentWhich makes me even more glad you're feeling a bit better.
First of all a big hug.
Thank you for sharing your story. I went through a similar thing with the after birth care on the ward - which was why I left hospital less than three days after a c-section. The stark contrast between care received in the Birth centre and the ward is cruel. Every shift I was given different advice on BF - got home and Alex and I worked it out.
You did it. Your amazing. She is beautiful!!
I can't say it any better than that! Dusty it has been a long hard road, but it is wonderful that you finally have your miracle child. You did it. Your amazing. She is beautiful!!
I'm sorry it wasn't all as positive as the birth itselfwishing you a speedy recovery so you can concentrate all your energy on enjoying your princess.
