Amazing story Dusty. MummaSue is right, you are a superstar! Thank you so much for sharing, the way you handled going overdue, your negotiations with your carers, how you handled your labour is very inspirational.

Ahh, what better to read during a late night feed than a fantatic account of the arrival of a precious miracle bub!

I confess I've been waiting for this one and it didn't disappoint! Your labour sounded so fantastic - aren't sisters awesome? I had mine there for my DD's birth and similar to yours, she was a great help to me. She's even an Em like I think your sister is from memory!!

Huge congrats again and I hope you can continue to recover well from what happened after that!

I know we talked about this yesterday, but I had no idea the after part was so bad. Well I knew it was bad, but not the extent Which makes me even more glad you're feeling a bit better.

First of all a big hug.

Thank you for sharing your story. I went through a similar thing with the after birth care on the ward - which was why I left hospital less than three days after a c-section. The stark contrast between care received in the Birth centre and the ward is cruel. Every shift I was given different advice on BF - got home and Alex and I worked it out.

You did it. Your amazing. She is beautiful!!

I can't say it any better than that! Dusty it has been a long hard road, but it is wonderful that you finally have your miracle child.
I'm sorry it wasn't all as positive as the birth itself wishing you a speedy recovery so you can concentrate all your energy on enjoying your princess.

    You did so well.

Im pleased you are able to seperate the highs and the lows as that can be very difficult to do.

    Well done and Congratulations
