Mine didn't last long enough for freezing. I just ate mine for morning tea everyday which is why I had several varieties listed at the bottom of my recipe so I didn't get tired of the taste. I found usually 1 batch would last a week.

I can't remember how long it took to work though. Reminds me I'll need to start cooking them next month for when I go back to work in aug; must start expressing to build the ebm stock.

You could freeze them before you cooked them but not after.

I tweaked the recipe a bit and made lactation muesli bars. I use carob or dried fruit sometimes, golden syrup or honey as substitutes for the sugar and I'm going to add lsa to the next batch to give it another boost

only about half gets cooked each time as I end up eating so much of it while I'm making it

Oh my goodness I CANNOT believe I've never heard of lactation cookies before! I would have loved to try when dd2 was a few months old ad milk seemed to drop no matter what I did/ate! Ended up just persisting and eventually picked up & she fussed less but good to know they are there in case I need in future (hope not!), maybe ill just try this time to see if makes any difference
