I never said 'if I can'. I just assumed I could. My mother home birthed and breastfed so that was my 'normal'. I remembered my sister breastfeeding and the mastitis and tears so I didn't expect it to be easy but I knew it was achievable.
It was only later that I realised that lots of women didn't breastfeed.
I do agree that by buying ABM just in case and using the phrase if I can that women are to a certain extent self-sabotaging. I think that you do need to believe in yourself.
