My SIL (supposedly pro-BF) told me, before i had kids, that BF a child that can ask for it is wrong, BF a child that can walk up and try and help themselves is wrong, and it shouldn't happen. you HAVE to wean them early so you dont have that sort of thing happen.

Waiting for her to say it to me now. i think i am like Kim with the "don't mess with my feeding" look. no one tries. well, except the doctor, who seemed to think weaning would cure PCOS and sleep apnea all at once. idiot!
Unless you suddenly developed PCOS and sleep apnea when you started breastfeeding, that's just ridiculous!!
