hi there - does she have white stuff on her tongue and the inside of her cheeks? If so, it could be oral thrush - my little one had this recently.
My 12wk old DD is BF and since yesterday her bottom lip has a white covering over it. Could this be breast milk or something else? She still feeds really well and it doesn't disturb her at all. Does anyone know what it could be?

Thanks for replying, she doesn't have a white tongue or cheeks, I also thought of oral thrush as she did have it around 8wks, thats why I'm so confused.
Oscar used to get that sometimes when I was breastfeeding. It was just dead skin that was on his lip... I went to the Dr about it and he said that if you try and "gently scratch/lift" some off and it bleeds it is most likely thrush but if not it is just dead skin.
Has Isabella had any milk blisters on her lips? I found that it happened to Oscar after the milk blisters were on his lips.
DD had these as well, hers were sucking blisters. They eventually disappeared. It was just on her bottom lip, kind of on the inside.
