I haven't done one, but I do recommend it. I did their antenatal classes, and the c/s bit was really informative. They went through not just what happens, but when and where and a fair bit of why. Also a full run through of who will be in the room and why, and all that other stuff that can vary between hospitals. And a really good list of what not to do.

A mum in my MG did one, I can ask her for more deets?

Oh, also, they have a YouTube video tour on it that you might find good. Between that and BB you'd probably have it covered, but for the lay-mama, I'd recommend it

Thanks girls I did do an Antenatal Class at MMH first time around and found it really good.

I have been on youtube watching a few vids and I seem to have a good feel for what is happening. I have also started a birth plan, in which one of my requests is for them to tell me what they are doing and when they are doing it so that I feel involved.

I also discussed the c/s with the Midwife at my appointment yesterday and they are very pro-mother choices ITMS? Like they want me to make it my experience and are happy to hear all requests from me before, during and afterwards.
