    Aww, sweetie,

I agree with the others though. Get a second opinion. There is another member who did have a rupture with her attempted VBAC. A serious rupture and unfortunately she DID lose her precious baby girl but she did go on to have another son born safe and sound where I believe they did a cs at about 33 weeks in order to deliver him before there was any real chance of her uterus rupturing again. Perhaps this could be an option for you. it would be worth speaking to more OB's about anyway. Also make sure you get a copy of your operation records to take along.

    Hope this helps.

    Hi Girls,

Thanks for all your kind words and support!!! I phoned the hospital where I had my 2 children this morning and asked if I could make an appointment to speak to one of the drs to discuss what my options are. Because its a public hospital I have to go to my GP and get a referral to see a dr in the womens health clinic dept. I've got to take my DD2 to our GP in a few wks for her 4month needles so I will ask for a referral. The midwife I spoke to on the phone this morning had my chart and she said a lot of people do go on to have healthy babies etc after a uterine rupture but she did say that I have a lot of scar tissue so it is something that I need to discuss with the drs to see if my scars will be strong enough to sustain a pregnancy.

Spice - Thanks for giving me the link to Nikkialma's vbac story. That is so sad. I went into labour naturally with both my girls at 37wks so I think if I was able to have another child I would have to have a c/s earlier than 37wks.

    Thanks again ladies!!
