How long after CS did you get out and about...?

Good luck Marydean! How exciting to have just a few days to go!

I had an emergency section and spent 5 days in hospital. The day I got home, I got home and went straight to bed for a nap then when I woke up, DH and I went shopping! When DD was 10 days old, DH and I took her Godfather out to dinner in the city which involved lots of walking around the city. I found I was ok if I had the pram to help me walk... and I also listened to my body and rested when I needed it. I was regularly walking about 5-6Km by about 4 or 5 weeks...
