Ring your insurer and find out about their policies on the matter.
I did drive a week after both my c-sections but both bubs where in the NICU and it was the only way I could see them as xDH was working.
If bubs had been home with me I would have waited longer.

Great to hear FWIW I had a tummy tuck earlier this year (so basically have a horizontal scar from butt-cheek to butt-cheek all the way around the front, and internal sutures almost up to my boobs where they sewed my abdominal muscles back together), and was driving within a couple of weeks after begging my surgeon for the go-ahead Only drive or do housework when you feel up to it, and just be mindful of your 'injuries' and make a mental note to avoid strain on particular areas that are sensitive - light exercise and a bit of housework is very helpful in speeding up the healing process so don't feel like you have to lay around in bed for 6 whole weeks if you feel like getting out and about!
