just wondering if anyone can tell me what the hiold up is at the moment with getting the CCR back to the Childcare centres?
This is the 3rd fortnight it hasnt gone through and I have got a VERY nasty shock when I check my bank statement. Is it sent through on a particular day?
Hopefully somone that knows more than me will come along soon, but I'm pretty sure it's dependant on when your Centre actually submits it. For instance at our Centre they say once a fortnight which gives them leeway if they have a crazy week and don't get it in. I'm guessing 'it' is the attendance records? That's just what I've heard though, I'm on quarterly so can't speak from personal experience. Hope it's through soon!
We had a hiccup at our Centre last billing period and I everyone got hit with the full amount. They said that it was because of a problem with family assistance, so sounds like the same thing that's happening at your centre. But it had all been rectified in our last billing cycle 21/2. Have you followed up with your centre, because from what I know family assistance have fixed the problem?
Either check on-line and see when the next payment is coming or give FAO a call and find out what the hold up is. Hopefully you can get it sorted out. Sorry I'm no help as I get my quarterly.
We submit weekly - when we retrieve, the data comes through each week for those families receiving CCR to service. Our system predicts the CCR regardless of whether it's been submitted or retrieved - so fees are usually always correct.....not sure what the problem in your service is.
The problem with my service is the fact the director is NEVER there. I wanted to pay my fees by card this morning since they bounced but nooooooo she wasn't bloody there.
I have to call FAO anyway so i will ask about this at the same time.
Thanks everyone just hard when u expect 135 to come out and they have tried to take 260
I don't understand why they need to take extra? It will rectify itself anyway - or it should, it does in my system - maybe it's their software provider.
If they take out too much does it just balance out next week?? Or doesn't it work that way?
I picked up my latest invoice/statement from the centre this morning and have just checked online and it doesn't match - Centrelink say they've paid benefits for the week just finished but the invoice shows zero. So I'm not gonna pay it.
So the lady at centrelink tells me the payments have been made to the centre so wtf has my account not been credited. The statement I got on Friday says my balance was $0 how the heck does that work.
The systems are a little clunky at times, unfortunately.
Often CCMS communicates quicker with FAO (you getting paid) than it does with the centre (the actual fee reduction).
I would be asking why the CCR isn't included in fee estimates.
Similar to ausgirl, our software takes it into account as an estimate and then only deems issue if it isn't paid by FAO.
Ok so apparently it's MY fault! she can do what she likes and change the amount that is taken every fn and centrelink have given me the wrong information.
I asked her why they don't just make it the same every fb whether the ccr has been sent back or not and she told me that centrelink told her NOT to do that yet the lady at centrelink told me that's what she should be doing
I so hate that woman but DS loves his teachers and friends. I think when it's time to change rooms I might move him to a different centre. Can those that are child care workers pm me who they work for if it's a franchise
Kylz - if you DS loves his carers I would be reluctant to move him.
Does the Centre direct dedbit your fees from an account? Is there another option to pay ie. you transfer the payment to them? That way you can send the same amount each week irrelavant of what is owed you know it will eventually work its self out. It just means you may get a letter from the cetre saying you owe them money, I'd just ignore it.
May I ask if this Director is a little bit of a bully? it seems that this is causing you a great deal of stress and it really shouldnt be that hard on the Centre's half.
Ahhh, there is no reason to be horrible, if this Lady doesn't like her job then she should get another one.
What sort of authorisation have you given for them to be able to take moeny from your account. Generally direct debits are for a set amount and the only way it can be changed officially is by authorising the new amount.
