Im not saying she cant enjoy life but what i am saying is i think it would be good to know how my sons money is spent on him as this money is not hers its for my son she dosnt need or would i even expect to know where her personal money goes , as we both have him for the same amount of time and its hard to understand where the money is spent ( i pay alot of money each week to him not just pocket change ) yet still am always asked for more ( which i give as i hope its in my sons best interest ) , i find it hard to understand as my new partener only gets about $10 a week to raise the same age child going through the same situation ( schooling , rent ,food , etc ) , just trying to understand how things work

Just for the record i have no problem paying what ever money to raise my child , i think its fair to know where the money goes as alot of people seem to miss understand that this money is not for the "other" parent to boost there income its for the welfare of the child as raising a child is a joint effort
I think that is COMPLETELY fair!
I get $26.00 a week in child support from my ex husband to care for our two daughters 5 days a week. I pay for all activities, school fees, clothes etc. I do not ask my ex husband for more money to cover any of these things because I believe that child support is there for this reason. My partner, on the other hand pays $300 a fortnight to his ex wife when we have his children HALF THE TIME!!!!!!! We pay for half of the ballet fees, swimming fees etc. We even pay an extra amount each week to cover any additional things like dental etc.

DOES CHILD SUPPORT NOT COVER THESE THINGS???????

If you want to know where your money is going, I think you have every right to do so.
