Just because it is late doesn't matter - mine was late too All they do in most councils is allocate the ones that come in on time, then the ones that come in late get allocated on a first come first served basis. Keep calling and get your application in and you might be surprised. We initially got our 3rd choice and then a few weeks before kinder went back we got our first choice.
