Our DD has issues with her bladder and kidneys and we regularly see an urologist. She recommends that DD empties her bladder every 2 hours. Now sometimes she does, but often she only does small wee's and doesn't empty it entirely. When that happens she has to urinate more frequently. My DD can't often relax enough to empty her bladder, so sometimes we talk to her about sitting down and taking a deep breath in order to help relax her muscles so she can urinate.
She has had 5 urinary tract infections in the past 6 months, and we found that she urinates more frequently then. She doesn't ever feel stinging with her infections, so maybe take her to the GP to get her wee checked just in case?
