Question Side effects to stopping cow's milk?

Ok, so this may seem bizarre - but since Saturday we have taken DS off cows milk and onto oats milk.

The last couple of days - omg - he has been insane!! running around like a complete nutter - doesn't listen to anything I say - really misbehaving (more than usual for him being 2!!) and just... well for lack of a better word - psycho....lol

So could it be him going off cows milk and getting it out of his system? Cos its starting to really do my head in. I mean, its funny when he's running around like I do when I've had too much nougat, but so so tiring!!!

    Whaddya think? Coincidence?

It took a good 4 weeks for it to get out of Matilda's system.... so I wouldn't think it was out of his system yet, but sure... it could cause a few upheavals getting there. I was told it would get worse before it got better.

    Worse?? holy moly

Can you recommend a cows milk free cheese and yoghurt christy? Cos he loves his yoghurt but we've been limiting it - same with the cheese.

The only other thing that i can think of is sugar... I didnt realise that many of the cheaper and well known brands of soy and rice milk have added sugar (possibly the same with oat milk???)
Anyway we have just swapped MJ soy milk and it took a while for her to get use to it, no major issues like you have experiences, but then she only has it on her weetbix in the mornings so its not a major part of her intake.

Arimeh, we've tried soy yogurt but because Jovie reacts to soy we took it away... We also use tofutti that I find in Woolworths and it is a cheese replacer, we don't give it to Jovie but the Better than Cream Cheese is fantastic! I used it the other day to make a cheesecake... seriously! The american cheese slices are crap, but I hate processed cheese slices anyway. Matilda likes them melted on toast though. So rarely, occasionally I buy it.

Mainly though, we don't have anything... we don't do replacements too well.
