'Pain Stop' has paracetamol and codiene ... ask dr or pharmascist if child under 2yrs
Check eveything in your box and if it has 'paracetomol' alone it is equivelent to 'Panadol'
Nurofen : ibuprufen is an anti inflammatory tablet great for inflammed tonsils ears teeth and it brings down fevers
Codiene: is a opiate based analgesia which is quite strong and some kids and adults are allergic or get a reaction by a rash all over body, welts, itchy hives ..... if this happens dont give again til you see you GP/Pharmacist.
Also in your cupboard there should be either phenergan and / or Dimetapp for allergic reactions ie if your family has a reaction to the Painstop.
What you can use in combination: Paracetamol and nurofen and phenergan
Painstop and nurofen and phenergan/Dimetapp if needed
XXX Painstop with phenergan watch the young ones as they can get very drowsy XXX
I hope i have explained it ok
