    Question Recipe for dairy free cake and icing suitable to make into a shape for kids birthday

    I want to make a dairy free cake that tastes ok that i can use to chop into bits to make a shaped cake (like a train or something)

    Also dairy free icing that i can colour.

    Google crazy cake! I just substitute the spices etc...with cocoa and make it a chocolate crazy cake, it's dairy, egg and nut free.
    As for the icing just use nuttalex instead of butter

    Otherwise do a normal cake using nuttalex and oatmilk

    On the cadbury website they have a fantastic moist chocolate cake recipe. I substitute the butter with nuttelex. No milk in this recipe at all.

    Google Cadbury Moist Chocolate Cake Recipe. We made it again on the weeekend, this time as cupcakes instead of one big cake, they are soooo yummy!

    We subbed butter for nutellex here for all DD2's dairy free - we also used soy in some cakes.
    Oatmilk would prob be nicer as it would be sweeter
