These cakes are sensational! Didn't even know this thread existed. Now I'm inspired!!!!

Awesome cakes! Can you make the fondant taste ok? I love the buttercream taste but would like to experiment with fondant more....

A BB member suggested to me to use a marshmallow fondant - gives it a sweeter flavour. Easy to use too.

Wow Ladies, Impressive!! I am another birthday cake maker! Some of my own best memories of childhood are the birthday cakes Mum would slave over for us. We used to look through the Womens Weekly Birthday Cake Cookbook months before our birthdays and choose which one we wanted. So I want me kids to have the same kinda memories

My kids are very creative and imaginative!

I'm very much looking forward to starting the Halloween crafts and cooking today......not that we celebrate the holiday as such, but we get involved in all fun things

So cute!

My latest creation. Was a joint venture for a dear friends 40th. I'd say I spent four hours painting the spots. But it looked awesome. And she nearly burst into tears when she saw it.

Rouge that is freaking awesome!

We are mid-packing/moving/selling and last weekend was nuts - I think I decorated the whole thing and had it done in less than an hour - not sure how but I just slapped that Betty Crocker frosting on there and put the decos on quick time!!!
