for anyone wanting to make longies, shorties, soakers, i just saw a thread about the same topic on another forum, and someone very knowledgeable typed out this list of good wools to get

    Treliske
    Four Bags Full
    Blackberry Ridge
    Fleece Artist
    Blue Faced Leicester

i think the good wool for longies (can be lanolised, is not scratchy) is of the price bracket, that suddenly, i now realise the WAHM's are not charging that much, afterall.

100% soft merino is a bit thin on the ground (at your average spotters etc).

i saw lovely wool on a NZ site called The Tin Shed too.

    FLUFFY MAIL!!

I got two parcels today - my Wee wuns order (including a swaddlebees MCN) and my 'Nappy Bucket' order with the Happy Heiny.

Have now washed all the nappies and they're just finishing off drying in the drier. I re-washed the BB as well - so they've had 2 washes.

Hopefully I've got nearly enough stuff to last me for a while now.

Now I've got my mattress protector, wetbag and cloth wipes solution as well as a whole lot more prefolds. I'm just about all set!

WOHB - Motherease Bamboo & cover.

The longies, soaker nad skirty I just got from B4B (yes - FINALLY!!) are 100% merino NZ wool - they are ace...really soft and no tbulky, but still warm enough for her overnight here atm (been getting down around the 1-3 degree mark)

Hope you get your laptop fixed soon Nelle!!

Nothing excting here to day nappy wise....DF is coming home tonight though, and we are going away for 5 days on Thrusday!!! Cant wait, sooo excited!
But I want to take the cloth, and will have no washing machine at all while we are at the resort....they shoul be alright to hand wash teh wet ones for a few days shouldnt it? I dont think I have enough MCN to last 5 days and nights straight!
I really dont want to use sposies though
So I have just washed all her nappies and they are drying, ready to take tomorrow all fresh!

ETA: Yes, I do actually have news - Charlotte out soaked the Sandman last night after only 4 hours!

WOHB: BWDM (the only nappies I am not taking with me!) and tots bots cover

Beatrix, you just use that lansinoh or whatever it's called from the chemist in the baby section (it's used for sore nipples when breastfeeding I think).
