Oh yeah, how dumb am I????????? You'd think I was pg ATM, the amount of stupid things I've said/done recently . I totally forgot Ange was going away, and I rang her yesterday because I wanted to check she was okay!!!! I feel like a goose now Sorry Ange!

Gigi I just wanted to say how much I love those night pockets you arranged for me! They're fantastic! I would love some more, as these ones won't fit for too much longer. So I'm going to be on the lookout now! I'd never even heard of night pockets before. Thank you so much

WOHB: sposie, because he weed through his BBB in 30 minutes I think I'm about to give up on them as our night nappy

Just a quickie - LOVE ya guts Maz - at least I know I'm not the only one with my mind in the gutter (was that a Freudian slip there Christy?)

Gigi - hugs babe - hope your day today has been a better one.

Welcome back FJ - if it makes you feel better, no one notices when I bugger off for days on end (prolly all used to me being a slacker by now...)

Hi to everyone else! Nothing remotely nappy related to report. I think the E-monster will start growing out of some of his mediums soon - eep. He's about 10kg now, the boofer. And it was his 9 month birthday yesterday - yay for bubby!!

WOHB: FJ special & bearbottoms MM cover (oh crap, I think he's having a poo... little monster...)

We were running low on nappies in the drawer yesterday (must buy more...) and DH found the Magicall that isn't supposed to fit DS yet (he's a small 6kgs - medium Magicalls are 7kgs & up). He had it on for about 3 hours - no leaks or anything! Pretty impressed! Maybe we'll keep it in use

I usually count on DS being about 1kg heavier than the recommendation before moving him up as he's such a skinny bummed kid! Chicken legs & all!

WOHB - GNST boosted with bamboo (was starting to wee through them) & lovelybums wool cover

If any of you buy Huggies, sounds like some quality control problems in the new ones, see this thread for details https://www.bellybelly.com.au/forums...ml#post1401142

Nettie - when my bub was JUST below the weight range for the next size in nappies, like you describe, i would put the next size on her, with a nb sized booster added, to take up the slack. Now i'm doing it with the large nappies, never thought i would use these nb sized boosters for so long, but they keep proving very useful.
Oh and with APLIX closing nappies (like i assume the magicalls are), you can ANGLE the tabs, to get an earlier use out of them.

Suse - i don't see you posting much anymore, but i just hope to myself, that you are lurking, just too busy to post. It seems to go hand in hand, people become a mod and next thing you know, they are so busy modding, their posts drop off. So yes, i do miss your posting, but i understand you are a mod now - and so we have to share you and your witty musings with MORE people. sniff.

Maz - i was wondering where Ange had got to as well, i sent her an email adn didnt hear back, was starting to worrry a wee bit

Janie - what are these night pockets i put you onto? i am such an airhead (i have no recollection of this, but it does sound like the sort of thing i would suggest). In the moment, things are so clear to me, but weeks, months later, i turn into goldfish brain!

WOTBB: sugarpeas ensemble with purple babylegs, i'm sure she will wake up soon for a midnight snack at the milkbar

Today, at my PND group, i saw film (taken by the facilitator) of bilby and me playing together. Cos dh and i don't have a camcorder, this is very unusual for me to see. I could not stop bawling (seeing the footage). The smiles and delight on her face, playing with me, i just couldn't believe it.

Aww Gigi - that's lovely. Sometimes seeing things from another perspective really makes a difference, living in the moment we don't always 'see' the moment.

Hey, a question for you - do you use the sugarpeas combo as a night nappy? Do you boost? Does it last Bilbs the whole night? I'm just trying to gauge where E is at right now - I think he must be going through that 'power-wee' stage. He soaked through his sugarpeas (unbooosted) in about three hours in the day, even the outside of the cover was wet. I always thought of him as a light wee-er, but I guess maybe he's not!

WOHB: BumG and the cutest little pants with mushrooms on the butt.

P.S. look - TWO whole posts in less than 24 hours!!! I shall make a concerted effort to come in to muse more often, I miss you crazy nappy lot. Truth is, I don't have much nappy related to talk about, nothing to buy, and no more exciting poo explosions to gross you all out with, and I figured that you didn't want to hear me waffle on about any old rubbish.

    Waffle away Suse!

Gigi, that is so beautiful, I have tears in my eyes! The night pockets are Bits for Bots fleece. A member on another forum was selling them, and you let us all know, I nabbed one, and then the seller decided to throw in all three! So it was a real bargain! And then you organised the money transfer etc etc. So thanks again hun

Maz, def sure I'm not pg, thanks!

Mel, did you get your parcel the other week????????? I had a sudden thought that I didn't check with you! Hope all is going well, and that M's drinking is better now

    Suse, waffle! Pls!

Us - well I think I'm actually at a point now where I don't *need* nappies. I have about 15 assorted bbb&bbh, plus covers, night nappies x 4, AI2s for daycare, PUL pockets ... *sighs* Least it means that I can stop using the clothesdryer!

Hey is anyone doing the GDNH this year? It starts on Monday.

GKs posted me out a parcel last Friday (nappy bags) and I only got the notification of a parcel this Friday - that's a whole week. Grrrrrrrr.

Unlikely Jols! Not if all goes to plan You never know though, accidents happen. And people change their mind! Go Sophie! That's very impressive. Just as well you're already cooking another one to put nappies on LOL.

WOHB: Boosted flat.......you should see my pile of washing to fold EEK! (Actually, you should see my whole house, but we won't go there......and I'm hoping no one else sees it before I get to it LOL)

That's a gorgeous 15 week belly!! You are so tiny - you lucky thing you!!!

Janie - yeah I got it, thanks. Sorry didn't let you know, not coping very well here with 2 kids so I've gone into hiding i think.......

Gigi - I think I need one of those moments cos i don't think he likes me very much at the moment.. think we have a love/hate relationship

Need to buy more nappies now... got him in cloth at daycare - the girls love the cute prints!! He's the only one in cloth (insert proud mummy here)

What liquid wash does everyone use on their nappies? I got Dynamo the other day but thinking it might be too enzymey (yes, its a word) for the nappies... can someone suggest a good liquid wash for me puh-lease....

Right... back to the hell hole of my house... (and life...?)

WOAB: BumG (hoping napping very soon..)
WOMB: Uh... prefold I think??? Yeah... with Bummis cover....

Oh Mel, I'm sorry you're doing it tough ATM I wish I had some wise words for you, but I'm useless as a mother of one! I'm sure some of our more experienced mothers will be able to help better than I. I wish I was closer to you, so we could meet up, have a laugh and distract you LOL. As for the washing liquied, I think Amolin works really nicely on nappies, but I currently use a 'green' liquid, usually whatever's on special. But I really like the Earth Choice, the EXTRA STRONG one not the regular. Hang in there hun, things will get better.

    Hi everyone!!

Sorry no time for personl but had to share some stuff

well i Had Mj needles yesterday and of course they weighed her... and i got the usual she is underweight has only gained 120 gr in 16 days

BUT She thought i was fantastic she was still breastfed exclusively and not one mention of solids or formula!!! Said she was obviously getting what she needed and she must just be a small baby!!

    I love this RN!!!!

Plus added bonus she has asked me to make a small cloth nappy info kit too for her to keep in her room!!! She said she is sick of hearing about mums coming in saying they cant afford sposies when they could just use cloth!!!!

So what i am asking who knows where i can get a cloth vs Sposie broucher? to print

Here comes spring! Finally got some previews up, not as many as I would ike, I think I forget when I plan in my head that I also have 3 kids to manage LOL. Not as much sewing got done as I hoped! Maybe tomorrow LOL.

B thats great, GiGi would be able to point you in the right direction of some great info I bet!

hmmmmm what else??? Isla's night wee's stink again ATM. Such a yuk smell to wake up too. Was very tempted to buy sposies the other day for night use. But I didn't. I find the smell is contained if I use PUL covers. Not that great a thing to do but when I roll over at night & the covers lift & let the smell out its so gross!
