Gigi - we are getting pootainment from all her nappies, except for occasionally flats it ends up in the covers. Just looking for reccommendations for nappies coz Im sick of folding flats , I like AIOs/AI2s coz I dont have to muck around with a cover. Because she doesnt move much Im finding we get compression leaks from wool & fleece so PUL seems to be the way to go ATM

    QUESTION....

I have started washing my nappies didn't really want to, but thought i had better start...

i did a warm wash with only 1/2 a cap of AM-O-LIN liquid for the first wash... (removed all liners/boosters etc.. and at the moment it is just outers...) will let these dry then do another 2/3 washes.. is this enough.. these are just my BBH PUL covers/magic-alls & Green bums
    Am i doing this right???

Maz, that feeling u had the other day had better have been for me!! I got a faint this monring, but I am not saying I am UTD until AF decides not to show her face on Thursday.

Em is sick she is going to the Dr at 3:50 for undoubtedly ANOTHER round of ABs. poor kid is becoming resistant to them!! I reckon it is ANOTHER chest infection Hopefully the humidity of the wet season will help her immune system!! steam out her lungs. So back to using liners on her nappies

DH is being sworn in as we speak. he will get logins for DHA today and then we will house hunt. I hope the perfect one is there as soon as we log in!!

That should be ok to start off. you will notice they become more absorbant as you wash and use them anyhow.

Maz - i have washed and dried this morning. going to attempt the elastic today.. try to hand sew if not will get into the cupboard and drag the machine out lol so lazy

PP are they new or second hand BG's? Contact the store you bought them from if they are new ones as they have a 6 month warranty!
