Hosey Mail!!! Well you cant call an LS fluffy can you?? I decided to go to bunnings for the longer hose though coz it would have cost me more in postage than it cost me to go to bunnings and buy it!! Our toilet tap is on the wall that has the bath on the other side, so it is on the side wall of the loo room, the LS hose was about 20cm too short.

Our 13 year old babysitter did really well with MCN today!!! She is a really good babysitter, so much more mature and capable than your average 13 year old!!

WOTB: whatever DH put on them!!

Wah! I wanted the flag. Oh well, at least it went to one of us in here.

Ali, the hose was too short for our toilet too, so DH ended up at Bunnings for ours too.

I got something (I got me some mama pads - the sun and water ones. They is a bit spesh). Now all I need is to be able to use them. Oh well, no hurry there LOL. Bummer to all those who missed out. I had trouble too with the cart - it all just went so quickly. I didn't want the four pack of mama pads, but the two pack I wanted went in about 1/2 a second.

rhyb hon - glad your mum is doing a bit better. The storm's been pretty cool tonight - but storms don't faze E - they'd be much less fun for us if he was constantly being freaked out by them.

WOHB: Whizz Kidz Nightz and wool soaker on a suddenly hyper little boy who wants to play, play, play. GO TO BED PSYCHO BABY, your mummy and daddy are exhausted....!!!

MAZ - sorry to hear you missed out on the Holden mcn at Gossamer Dreams

i really liked the Purple Platypus under TOYS. sold out of course!

great score on the mama apds Suse. I think you're getting a dream run, if E is over one now, and AF hasn't returned yet - you lucky thing!

RHYB - glad you r mum is on the mend

Maz - are you going to embroider an elephant for M's nappy, or are you after quilter's cotton that has elephants on it?

With all this talk of COWS! i found a website that does name labels, called MOOO - yes, three O's - and they do MONKEY labels (for bilby).

Miz is in the big girl's bed tonight - trying it out again - took me until 10.07pm to get her to bed (when she fell asleep). i read her SO MANY books! I can virtually recite "No Kisses for Daddy" and "Bilby Moon"!!

Bilby learnt how to flush the toilet today, and proved to me she remembers and can do it, by doing it MANY times!!! i don't think water conservation is a concept i can get thru to her just yet. Oh, and the paper rolling kicked in too. Fun. i had it so easy when she couldn't reach the door handles!! it's really "on" now LOL.

Wardygirl - i'm so glad your iishfly order came thru just fine. i'm happy it turned out well for you.

    people wanting cowprint mcn
i will throw you some leads cos i'm that typa gal

    C O V E R S
    - cowprint berry plush covers - at babysoftlandings
    - cowprint mazalicious minky covers - at wahmnaps
    - in PUL covers with gussets, imse vimse make a FARM print one, with cows on it, great for the newborns, and for anyone using prefolds.
    - cowprint blueberry wraps
    - worth checking if swaddlebees do cowprint PUL wraps too - i am too tired to go check
    - the starbunz cow cover, aio or pocket nappy - at darlingsdownunder

    P O C K E T S
    - cowprint blueberry OSFA aplix pocket nappies - at baby blossom
    - cowprint blueberry sized side snap pocket nappies
    - cowprint happy heiny pockets - they come in both OSFA and sized
two types - one is cotton PUL, the other is POLY PUL, i suggest you buy the POLY PUL
    both at the weewuns
    - swaddlebee sized pocket with OV inner (the usual stock, not the on sale ones at theweewuns)
    - swaddlebee econappi OSFA pocket
bound to be lots more, at the wahm outlets. wahmnaps, minicuteture, ozebaby, etc.

    W E T B A G S
    - happy heiny, swaddlebees, blueberry and greenkids all make cowprint wetbags
    - greenkids also has one called "over the moon" which is a print illustreating Hey Diddle Diddle, obviously cows have a starring role!

    B A B Y C L O T H I N G
    - babylegs and huggaluggs in cowprint
    - bummis swimmis red cows (swim nappy) - at the weewuns
    - blueberry cowprint minky trainers (toilet training)
    - very cute baby trousers, cowprint with fringing down the leg at cheekytots, cut for cloth nappies!!
    - swaddlebees mattress protectors (that i used as nappy free time mats)

    F O R M A M A
    - in breastpads, mazalicious makes cowprint minky ones - at wahmnaps
i'm sure i've seen cowpring mama pads too, maybe obsidian star ones, check it out at theclothpadshop

(and for the elephant fans, imse vimse also make a JUNGLE print cover, that has elephants on it too). these were at newagenappies. And there are some SAFARI funtimes Greenkids nappies at the Greenkids site, that featured elephants too.

so, is that sufficient "enabling" for one post LOL????

    oh dear
when you google "cow nappies" - you get - um - nappies meant for cows to wear!!!
when you google "cow mcn" - you get something equally useless!
    hmmm
    back to the drawing board!

if anyone finds MONKEY stuff, please LMK - cotton knit fabric (with stretch in it both ways), clothing, backpacks.

wotbb: lotus nights with colourful dragonflies on it, hidden under a cream Disana woollen pullup cover, too easy.

LOL Gigi - I am not complaining for a second about the continuing absence of AF, I don't miss her, that's for sure. Congratulations to Miz Bilby on her flushing ability and ascension to the big bed, wot a clever Bilbster she is!

Rhyb, you are much kinder than me, I was going to say he's too dopey to be fazed (*gasp - wash my mouth out, how can I even think such a thing*). He's so not cool tonight, he's only now starting to think about sleep, it's going to be another 1:00am-er again methinks. Hopefully he gives me more than four and a half hours sleep tonight. I'm so over teeth, why do his grow so darn slowly?

Hang on a sec - Gigi - did you say 'Nappies for COWS to WEAR'? Wha...? I'm agog!! Why on earth would a cow need a nappy?

On that note... I'm outta here... Bye-eeeeee.

lalalalala not reading! stop enabling me! only so many nappies this kidlet can wear with cows on them (though i did cave and get a wet bag, and baby legs... oops!). after tonight, i think i'm gonna go off cows in a big way - DH had one do a runner on him as he was unloading - over 90 minutes to catch the stupid thing. bad enough in it's own way - but i knew where he was going, that they closed at midnight, so going to bed just after midnight i should have gotten an answer on the phone - when he still hadn't called or answered by 1.30, i was a freakin mess. i'm at the puter cos i came to look at breaking news to see if any truck accidents. he eventually called me a few minutes ago, i started bawling. he feels bad (not his fault), i feel terrible, and all i want is to cuddle him - and then slap him for stressing me out

me and gremlin going to bed - if she settles well, i know she's forgiven the cows and i "might" look at some more sites - if she goes psycho - well, no more cow print for us!
